A Prayer
Almighty God,who brought down the walls of Jericho,
dissolve the barriers of selfishness
that separate me from you.
Loving Jesus,
who calmed the angry seas with a word,
still the storms of fear and regret that trouble me.
Holy Spirit,
who awakened the zeal of Blessed Peter,
inspire my heart with courage.
Lamb of God,
who takes away the sins of the world,
have mercy on me.
Blood of Christ,
spilled for us for the forgiveness of sin,
wash me and make me pure.
Lord Jesus Christ,
who healed the sick and raised the dead,
make me whole and alive again.
Sacred Heart of Jesus,
enflamed with love for all creation,
teach me true compassion.
Lamb of God,
who takes away the sins of the world,
have mercy on me.
Blessed Jesus,
present in the Most Holy Sacrament,
make me worthy to recive you.
St. Michael the Archangel,
who drove rebellious Satan from heaven,
defend me from the snares of the Enemy.
Blessed Mother of God,
who stood by Jesus at the moment of his death,
assist me in my last agony.
Lamb of God,
who takes away the sins of the world,
grant me your peace.
